More Information
Hailing from the Bay Area, the collective known as Mob Figaz features the mighty talents of The Jacka, Rydah J. Klyde, AP.9, Husalah and Fed-X. The band's 1999 album, "C-Bo's Mob Figaz," is considered an absolute classic in hip hop circles. Over the years each of the members have gone on to release both numerous solo albums and countless collaborations. For one special night the Jacka and Husalah will be joining forces on stage!
Enter the Jacka.
The death of 2Pac in the mid '90s ripped the heart out of West Coast Hip Hop. At the same time a young street poet named the Jacka was honing his skills in the Bay Area Rap game. Born to teenage parents, he was raised in the hip hop culture and exposed to break dancing, rap music and graffiti at an unusually young age. While growing up, he was a very serious fan of the whole hip hop culture as well as music in general. Always open minded, he was influenced by b-boys and thugs, pimps and Imams. The Jacka has since developed into an established, well-rounded, well-versed emcee in place to bring himself some serious attention.
Husalah of the legendary Mob Figaz is fresh out of the Federal Penitentiary after serving 4 years for cocaine conspiracy charges. His new album "Mob Maniac" is almost completed and expected to come out in late 2012. Since being released he has been constantly recording new music and performing all across the west coast. Hit songs that have been out prior to him serving time, such as "Cuttin It Up", "Zestwayz" & "From the Hood" still make the fans go crazy as well as new tracks such as the Traxamillion produced "Pray 4 You" and the E-40 track featuring Husalah & Clyde Carson "Lightweight Jammin." Husalah's stage show is exciting and chaotic... almost unexplainable; you need to experience it for yourself.
