A special evening of stand-up comedy in SF to benefit the David Lynch Foundation (to support stress-reducing meditation programs for veterans, inner-city students and the homeless). This will be a classic Russell Brand show and a night not to be missed!

In 2010 Russell Brand was seen in Universal's hit comedy, "Get Him to the Greek." Brand reunited with "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" producer, Judd Apatow, reprising his iconic role as 'Aldous Snow.' Brand also lent his voice to the role of Dr. Nefario in Universal's hit, animated feature film "Despicable Me," which included the vocal talents of Steve Carell and Jason Segel. The film
grossed an amazing $543,113,985 at the box office.

Also an acclaimed author, Brand has written two books, "My Booky Wook: A
Memoir of Sex, Drugs and Stand-Up," which was on The New York Times best-seller list for five weeks in a row, and the follow up, "Booky Wook 2: This Time It's Personal."

Beginning his career as a stand-up comedian, Brand rose to fame in the UK in 2003 for his "Big Brother" spin-off, "Big Brother's Big Mouth." He launched his first nationwide tour, Shame, in 2006; the show was released on DVD as Russell Brand: Live. Brand launched his second nationwide tour in 2007, Russell Brand: Only Joking; released on DVD as Russell Brand: Doin' Life. He brought his stand-up comedy tour to the United States in 2009 with his tour, Russell Brand: Scandalous.

Parking is limited at the Palace of Fine Arts so please arrive early and allow extra time. There is parking available at the St. Francis Yacht Club; a shuttle will be available starting at 6:45pm.
