More Information

By fusing elements of post punk, shoe gaze, pop and psych rock, San Francisco band Vela Eyes produces an ethereal, melodic, yet aggressive soundscape. Lyrically they are inspired by fantasies of love, and the beauty of empowerment.

The band started as a side project between guitarist Ian Zazueta (Delle Vellum, the Paradise Boys) and front woman Florie Maschmeyer - completed by Andrew Dietrich Burmester (Kill Moi, Madelia) as bass player, Jef Pauly (New Diplomat, Modi) as drummer, and Julia Johari as second keyboard player, guitarist and background vocalist.

The Surgeon Generals are a Rock/Alternative band formed in San Francisco, CA in 2010, consisting of Chris Thomas, Jack Shepherd, and the newest addition to the band, Matt Lion. The band is on the independent record label, Light Rail Records. They have been featured on 107.7 THE BONE FM,
and have had significant airplay this year, 2013. The Surgeon Generals recorded their Debut Album at Lennon Studios in San Francisco, CA. Mastered in Los Angeles, CA at Mike Wells Mastering. The Album was released December 15, 2011.
